My App got certified on Xero App Store
It all started off as an idea, a side project, a challenge for me to work on to learn new skills. It was the end of 2023 when I first started working on this app. Initially I was trying lots of different ideas and features and often felt like I was going nowhere or making very little progress.
Fortunately I was able to collaborate with a local accounting firm, Stirling Partners (https://www.stirlingpartners.com.au/), that used the Xero Accounting Software. Through this collaboration I was able to identify features that will be useful for users of Xero. A proof of concept was developed shortly after, it was named Ikigai (https://ikigai.passionit.tech/).
The next step I began looking into was how can I help more users of Xero with my integration? The answer was to first become a Xero App Partner. So began my journey of getting my app certified. I initiated the process to get my app certified in February 2024 and then began the process of me developing my app to ensure it meets the Xero certification requirements (https://developer.xero.com/documentation/xero-app-store/app-partner-guides/certification-checkpoints).
